Cheese Crackers

This cheese cracker recipe is amazing because it tastes sweet and savory. It reminds me of Sunflower crackers from the Philippines. It is good to pair with cheese and wine or on its own as a quick snack.

  • ½ cup butter

  • 1⅔ cup havarti cheese, grated

  • 1½ cups all purpose flour

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • pinch of salt

  1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicon mat.

  2. Beat the butter and grated cheese together with a hand mixer.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients until well mixed.

  4. Roll like a log and wrap in a plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.

  5. Put the dough in the silicon mat. Use a rolling pin to flatten and shape it to rectangular size.

  6. Preheat oven to 400°F. Divide the flattened dough and place on the baking tray.

  7. Bake for 10-14 minutes.
