Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookie
Our family loves to eat cookies. For this recipe, I chose one of our all time favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies with pecans.
Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookie

- 1¼ cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp light corn syrup
- 1 tsp water
- 1 egg
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate
- ¾ cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease the baking tray.

In a medium sized bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

In a standing mixer with paddle attachment, cream the butter with sugar and vanilla.

Add the corn syrup and water. Put the mixer at medium speed.

Add the eggs to the mixture until blended.

On low speed, add the flour mixture until they are mixed.

Add the chocolate chips and pecans in low speed until they are blended.

Use a spoon or ice cream scooper to drop the dough onto the prepared baking tray.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
