Chocolate Ganache
Chocolate ganache is a smooth and velvety frosting that makes any cake look elegant and delicious. It is a mixture of whipping cream and chocolate. The more chocolate you add, the thicker it is.
It is best to use high quality chocolate to make a silkier and smoother ganache. The ratio is 1:1 where you have 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup heavy whipping cream.
- In a saucepan, bring the whipping cream just to a boil.
- Pour over the chocolates.
- Wait for at least 3 minutes before stirring.
- Whisk until smooth.
