Choc*Nut Cookies
Choc*Nut is one of the most popular candy from the Philippines. It is a simple combination of peanuts and chocolates. Each piece is wrapped in silver foil and enclosed in a plastic with red and white stripes running through it horizontally.
Recently, they came up with a new product, Choc-Nut spread, that our family in the Philippines sent us. Similar to Nutella, it is is delicious with bread and crackers. It is like eating chocolate chip cookies with peanuts.
I added chocolate chips as topping to have a richer chocolate flavor.
The best way to have a consistent shape of the cookies is to use an ice cream scooper.
