Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin
Banana and chocolate chips make the perfect combination for muffins. My kids love to bring this to school as a snack. It is not only easy to make but it is soft and moist. This is my 'go to' recipe when I have overripe bananas. All ingredients are easily available on any one's cupboard.
Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin
1½ cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
¼ cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup fresh milk
3 tbsp butter
3 pcs medium mashed bananas
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a 12 hole muffin pan with parchment cups.
In a bowl, add the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
In another bowl, add the liquid ingredients, milk, egg, and butter.
Combine the liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients. Whisk until all ingredients are fully mixed.
Mix the mashed bananas.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour into the muffin pan.
Bake until golden brown.
